How ACH debit collection works

1. Authorisation

Your customer authorises ACH debit, and PaidonDue records that authorisation for the invoices it covers.

2. Advance notice

PaidonDue sends the amount and date at least 1 day before an ordinary debit. A change to an existing authorisation's terms gets 10 days' notice.

3. Collection attempt

A bank debit can fail or be returned; PaidonDue shows the outcome.

What's specific to ACH

Ordinary ACH debits get at least 1 day's notice. A change to existing authorisation terms gets 10 days' notice.

Your customer can request cancellation through you or their bank. Cancellation is honoured promptly.
