From a Sage invoice to a customer receipt

Sign in through Sage

Authorise PaidonDue on Sage's own sign-in. Every Sage business your login can access is connected, each as its own PaidonDue workspace.

What comes across

Sales invoices sync in with the customer, their email, the outstanding amount and the due date. New and updated invoices are fetched when you open PaidonDue, by a regular background check, or when you press Sync.

Recorded as a receipt

Switch on payment recording and each collection is entered in Sage as a customer receipt, allocated to the invoice and posted to the Sage bank account you pick, so there is a receipt in Sage to match against the money in your bank feed.

Which due date counts

On some limited Sage plans, Sage will not accept a custom due date from PaidonDue and sets its own. PaidonDue then uses the date Sage assigns, so both systems agree on when the invoice is due.

What to know about Sage

On some limited Sage plans, Sage may assign the invoice due date instead of using a date you request. Check the due date shown in Sage when planning collection.

Only eligible invoices can be scheduled for collection, with valid payer authority and required notice in place. Timing and outcome may vary.

Questions merchants on Sage ask

Why does Sage show a different due date to the one I set?

Sage's Start-tier plans don't allow a custom due date on an invoice. When that happens, PaidonDue uses the due date Sage assigns. Collection still depends on invoice eligibility, valid payer authority and required notice, and timing and outcome may vary.

Does PaidonDue support Sage Quotes?

Yes for UK, Ireland and Canada businesses (Quote and Estimate both). Every other Sage country sees Estimate only, matching what Sage itself offers there.
