From a FreeAgent invoice to a recorded payment
One company per sign-in
Authorise PaidonDue through FreeAgent. A FreeAgent sign-in connects one company, so connect each company separately.
What comes across
Open invoices and your customers sync in with the amount, the balance and the due date. PaidonDue refreshes them when you open it and on a regular background check.
Collected on the due date
PaidonDue re-reads the invoice just before it collects, so a payment made in FreeAgent is not collected again. If an invoice is part paid in FreeAgent, PaidonDue collects the amount still owed. You can also split an invoice into an instalment plan. Each instalment is collected on its own date.
Paid, then recorded
With payment recording on, each collected payment is recorded on the FreeAgent invoice on the day it is collected. A part payment is recorded as a part payment. With payout posting set up, payments go to a clearing account and PaidonDue posts each payout to your bank account as one transfer, with fees booked.
What to know about FreeAgent
You can create invoices, quotes and customers in FreeAgent from PaidonDue, and set up recurring invoices. A quote can be turned into an invoice.
To cancel an invoice, PaidonDue deletes a draft and issues a credit note for a sent invoice. It never deletes a sent invoice. If an invoice has a payment, correct it in FreeAgent.
